HQ BUILDING PROJECT

From the humble beginnings of prayer meetings in rented bamboo homes, came the vision of a Ministry. Since then, by faith, GTP Mission has stepped out to trust God to provide everything including office buildings. Over the years, God has provided an office in Insein in the outskirts of Yangon, to then two floors of an apartment in Yangon city, and now a large Complex in Lanmadaw right next to Yangon River with beautiful views across the city and the river. Praise God for His miraculous works!

The Miracle: The Building

​

In 2000, Mang & Ciin felt God wanted to provide a new headquarters for GTP. At the time, GTP was located on two levels of an apartment block in the city but the rooms were small and big enough only for office space and did not have an auditoriam. Much of GTP's essential activity is training missionaries and church planters and every year, GTP would need to hire out churches for the trainings at great expense. ​

One day, Mang inspected a property in the heart of China town on the 8th floor which was virtually empty and had no walls. Mang knew it was the building God would provide for GTP. They prayed, fasted, believed and encouraged all GTP prayer partners and sponsors to believe for God to provide the money. Mang put down a deposit of AU $10,000. The building was to cost ​

AU $100,000. Not having the rest of the AU $90,000 at all, it was an enormous step of faith! Many people did not dare to believe and knew it would be terribly embarrassing to believe God would miraculously provide the rest of the AU $90,000. The final days before the rest of the money was to be paid off drew close and it was with great anticipation and faith, Mang & Ciin and the team kept praying. ​

Only a week before the money was due, God kept His promise. He spoke to a faithful follower of God who heard God  ask him to give exactly AU $90,000 towards GTP's Building Project. He later confessed that at the time when everyone else was praying for the money, he didn't believe God would perform a miracle this crazy! This man did not know how much money was needed nor had been already paid towards the building. At first, he questioned what God had asked of him (as any sane person would!). But he really knew it was God and was obedient to the Lord. God is so faithful and He will bless those who listen and obey to extend God's Kingdom. ​

Praise God for His faithfulness! ​​​​

LEFT: ​​​​​​​​​​Some of the first meetings and trainings held at the new Headquarters. There are no walls yet with only ceilings intact. The floor is concrete, but we are just so overjoyed at God's goodness we didn't care! We finally had a place to have our many meetings, trainings, conferences and a venue of our own!
