In Myanmar, life is fragile. In Myanmar, life is fragile.
It’s a nation scarred by civil war and gripped by poverty, where entire villages face uncertainty, conflict, and scarcity.
A nation where many communities have never heard of the name of Jesus, where His love, forgiveness, hope, peace, and salvation remain unknown to them.
Myanmar remains one of the least-reached nations in the world. Only around 6–8% of the population identifies as Christian, and an even smaller number are spirit-filled, born-again believers.
During our trip to Myanmar in September 2025, we visited our two missionaries: Saw Lu, who has planted a new church in Taunggyi, Shan State, and Myo Kyi, serving in the Aung Lan Township of the Magway Region.
Thanks to the faithful support, God’s Trio Partners for Missions (GTP) has been able to provide these courageous church planters with a stable income, transportation, and essential ministry resources such as Bibles, Christian tracts, and guitars for worship.
Both missionaries have already begun influencing their communities by hosting meetings, building relationships, and sharing the message of Jesus.
For GTP, planting a church is more than running a Sunday service; it’s establishing a living, active, Spirit-filled family of believers. We send native missionaries to live among the people, to serve them, suffer with them, love them, and walk the journey of faith alongside them until a community emerges that reflects the Kingdom of God.
Our trip concluded with reconnecting with our staff and networks in Yangon and exploring new opportunities to plant churches, equip the saints, and continue the mission of transforming Myanmar for Jesus next year and beyond.
As we enter 2026, we’re excited to let you know that we'll be running a Ministers Conference and an Equippers Training Course, both in the first half of the year, and partnering with new missionaries to plant more churches across Myanmar.
